We pulled off an older Landmark CertainTeed system and put down a full Owens Corning Duration shingle roof on this home. The difference is hard to miss. The new charcoal shingles sit clean and tight across every plane of this multi-gabled roofline - and against that deep red siding, the contrast looks sharp.

Here's the thing about older roofs - they don't always look bad from the street. That's what makes them tricky. A roof can still be shedding granules, losing adhesion, or just quietly failing long before you see obvious damage inside. That's exactly why a proper inspection matters before any replacement. We look at the full picture before we ever talk materials.

Once we confirmed this roof was at the end of its service life, Owens Corning Duration was the right call. The Duration series uses SureNail Technology, which gives you a stronger fastening strip and better wind resistance than standard shingles. It's built to hold up through serious weather - not just look good on day one.

A roof replacement is one of the bigger decisions a homeowner makes. Getting the product right and having it installed correctly makes all the difference in how long that investment lasts. We take that seriously on every job.
